Foodball League Store!
Every major city/region of the U.S. has a food that it is known for or was invented there or you simply can’t find anywhere else. I decided to have some fun and mashed up the pro football team colors with the legendary food to create: The National Foodball League!

Arizona
Arizona has a great deal of culinary culture from it’s neighbor to the south Mexico. The Chimichanga in particular was invented in either Phoenix or Tucson depending on who you ask, and it was either an accident or a culinary experiment that went really well. The word actually translates to “thingamajig.” As far as the prickly pear is concerned, it is a native cactus that grows in the Sonoran desert. It’s delicious in lemonades, margaritas, made into candy and so much more!
Atlanta
The state of Georgia is know for many delicious treats and culinary delights. Easily one of the most famous sodas in the world was invented in Atlanta by by physician and chemist who looked like either a Civil War general or, in modern aesthetics, a guy who would know a LOT about craft beers. As far as peaches are concerned, I mean Georgia is “the Peach State” for crying out loud. It seems like a no-brainer to go with peaches. Plus, I’ve heard legends that they come from a can and were put there by a man, in a factory down town. :)
